Paving with Excavation
This option includes :
1. Digging out your current driveway area - removal
of asphalt, rocks, clay, grass, stumps, boulders etc.
2. Adding geotextile underlay
3. Adding a 4” (gravel size) layer
4. Adding a 5/8 “ (gravel size) layer
5. Packing each layer
6. Grading for proper slope
7. Paving (2”of compacted asphalt).
You should choose this option if: 1- you do not have an existing driveway. 2-you have an existing driveway with dips and potholes or 3-you want the most longevity out of your new driveway.
Driveway Repairs and Extensions
Repairs
We can repair damaged asphalt by removing stumps, stones etc. We will replace the undesired area with an asphalt patch. Choose this option if you have a pothole or protrusion in your driveway or parking lot.
Extensions
Extensions can include paving with excavation or paving with resurfacing.
Choose this option if you are 1- interested in making your driveway larger to accommodate extra parking 2-adding a walkway.
Paving with Resurfacing
This option includes:
1. Shimming low spots with gravel
2. Paving over an existing driveway (1-2” of compacted asphalt)
You should choose this option if you already have an excellent gravel base in your current driveway.
From Start to Finish
When our estimator arrives at your home or business he will take the time to discuss your goals, budget and asphalt plans in detail. He will often make suggestions and will always give you a thorough explanation of our processes.
Once you have booked your driveway or parking lot we will add you to our schedule.
First we will prepare your job and several weeks later, once your gravel base has settled, we will pave your driveway or parking lot. To ensure that every job is completed to the highest standard, we use state of the art paving equipment.
